G20 missed boat on food security
This article highlights, in a short but significant article, that there is one issue that our leaders failed to address at the Nov. 5th G20 summit. It is one that will inevitably affect us all if it isn’t made a priority: global food security. The author points out that as economies grow, and populations increase, significant investment in agriculture in both developed and developing countries is the only way to ensure that we will all have access to safe, affordable and nutritious food.

We need to hold countries accountable for the commitments they’ve made to foreign aid spending as it is development assistance that will fuel the world’s ability to feed a growing population. We all need to pressure our leaders to ensure that this issue falls under the heading of “What got done” the next time the G20 meet.
